Professor Martin started her teaching career at CCM in 1980 as an Assistant Professor of Developmental Studies. In 1993, when the Developmental Studies Department merged with the English Department, she began teaching a variety of English courses, including Writing Skills, English Composition I and II and most recently, Children’s Literature. She was promoted to Associate Professor in 1989.
Currently, Professor Martin is working to complete her doctorate at Drew University in Madison.

Professor Martin is a member of FACCM and the NJEA.
