Borrowing Periods (except reserves)
Books and CDs: 28 days
DVDs: 7 days
Reference books, magazines and newspapers: In-house use only
Calculators: borrowing periods vary
Items that are being held for a particular course are "on reserve." Ask for these at the Library information desk by giving the title of the item and your professor's name. You can check titles by searching online: Class Reserve Materials
Borrowing periods for reserve items are usually one to seven days although some may be used in-house only.
Items may be returned upstairs at the library front desk or to the book drop outside the front door.
Please return items promptly so that others may use them. Items may not be renewed. Late fees are 10 cents per day for each item. There is a 7-day grace period on fines for items that have a 28-day lending period.
You are responsible for all items borrowed on your card and will be charged for lost or damaged items. Do not allow anyone else to use your card, and be sure to notify the library immediately if your card is stolen.
