How to Approach a Foundation and Get the Grants You Want

A Free Workshop at CCM Presented by the Foundation Center-New York
The County College of Morris (CCM) library will be offering a free workshop on building relationships with foundations on Wednesday, December 7, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Learning Resource Center, Room 140, on its Randolph campus, 214 Center Grove Road.

The workshop, “How to Approach a Foundation” will be presented by Susan Shiroma, senior librarian of the Foundation Center-New York. The CCM library serves as a satellite site for the foundation.

Shiroma will cover the grant funding process from initial contact to getting funded following field-tested best practices. Participants will learn how to initiate contact with potential funders, plan calls and meeting, and communicate effectively with funders.
Registration is required. To register, call 973-328-5300 or email gbasu@ccm.edu. Space is limited so early registration is strongly encouraged.
