CCM Professor Sander Zulauf Selected as an Honored Poet for the Warren County Poetry Festival


Recognized for His Lifetime of Work as a New Jersey Poet
Sander Zulauf, of Byram Township, professor of English at County College of Morris (CCM) and editor of the Journal of New Jersey Poets, has been selected as an Honored Poet for the Seventh Annual Warren County Poetry Festival in recognition of his lifetime of work as a New Jersey poet.

The festival takes place Saturday, September 24, at the Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts, Blair Academy, in Blairstown from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Zulauf will read selections of his poetry at 3:30 p.m. and after the dinner break at 7 p.m. Also selected for recognition by the festival are the past and current directors of the Dodge Foundation Poetry Festivals and poets Jim Haba and Martin Farawell.

Zulauf’s poems have appeared in dozens of national publications including the New York Times. He is the author of three books of poetry, Succasunna New Jersey, Living Waters and Where Time Goes. He has been a poet with the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation and was named the first Poet Laureate of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark.

Zulauf has been teaching poetry, creative writing and literature at CCM since 1973.
