John Beyel, Esq., a partner with McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP of Morristown and an expert in wills, trusts and estates, will host a seminar on the fundamentals of estate planning on Tuesday, November 12, at 7 p.m. at County College of Morris (CCM). The educational session, sponsored by the CCM Foundation, is intended to help individuals learn that estate planning involves more than just money and taxes.
Beyel will cover the importance of keeping an estate plan up to date with beneficiary information that is kept current to reflect marital status as well as the birth of children or grandchildren. He will also discuss probating a will and current and proposed changes to the tax code that may affect an estate.
“Attending this seminar may help attendees hold on to more of the assets they have spent a lifetime accumulating,” said Beyel.
The event will be held in the Davidson Rooms of the Student Community Center at the college’s Randolph campus, 214 Center Grove Road.
The event is free but reservations must be made in advance no later than November 5. For more information or to make reservations, call 973-328-5060 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
