College for Kids and Teens will begin on Monday July 6 and run until Friday August 7. This highly regarded academic program has been held on campus for over a decade. This year, College for Kids is “A Passport to Summer.” Students will take a trip around the world during the 5 week session. Four weekly themes include Africa, Asia, Ancient Greece and Rome, and finally, the good ol’ USA. The fifth week is our Summer Bridge week. Students will have an opportunity to focus on more academic pursuits to help ready them for September.
College for Teens is also running for the five weeks. This year we are offering two SAT prep sessions. We also have many other college-readiness classes to help with the daunting process of college applications, financial aid, and the dreaded interviews. Teens have an opportunity to cook in our teaching kitchen as well.
Finally, CCM have some specialty programs for those students looking for more in-depth courses. There will be offerings for art, computers and science. Finally, new this year is our two-week drama program. Students will work on putting together scenes from three of today’s best musicals. They will work on singing, acting and even doing the scenery.
