The County College of Morris (CCM) Foundation will hold its 2013 Scholarship Golf Outing on Monday, September 16, at the Knoll West Country Club in Parsippany. Funds raised by the event benefit CCM’s scholarships and programs. In addition to a day of golf, the outing will offer three hole-in-one contests featuring automobiles from Ayres Chevrolet of Dover, Jim Salerno Buick GMC of Randolph, and Lynnes of Stanhope and Bloomfield. There will be additional on-course contests as well as raffle prizes.
“The Knoll West is consistently rated as one of the top municipal courses in the nation and presents our participants with a number of holes that will challenge their skills,” said Joseph Vitale, president of the CCM Foundation. “In addition to a great day on one of the area’s most beautiful courses, our annual Scholarship Golf Outing is an important means of raising funds for our scholarship program. Thanks to our scholarships, many students have had the opportunity to launch their college careers at CCM.”
In addition to individual play, the tournament features the Corporate Challenge, which is open to companies that register at the Presenting, Ace, Double Eagle or Eagle sponsorship levels. In addition, there are a number of awards for players who are alumni of CCM.
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start slated for 12:30 p.m. A number of packages are still available. For more information or to register for the 2013 County College of Morris Scholarship Golf Outing, call 973-328-5060 or visit http://www.ccm.edu/foundation/golf2013
