The AAR Art Show and Sale, which is free and open to the public, runs through August 3 on CCM’s Randolph campus, 214 Center Grove Road. The AAR is a nonprofit organization that was formed in 1965 to further the appreciation of and increase interest in the fine arts within the community. The group is located in Succasunna and most of its members reside in Morris and Sussex counties. The AAR’s membership includes artists of all levels of experience, from amateur to professional, as well as art patrons.

Serving as judge for the exhibition is Leah K. Tomaino, artist and adjunct professor of Visual Arts at CCM. Tomaino received her BFA from the Cooper Union in New York City and her M.A. with a concentration in painting from William Paterson University. In addition to teaching at CCM, she teaches at Artworks Studio in Randolph and the Children's Museum in NYC. A grant recipient of the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation, Tomaino has won many national awards and is a member of the National Association of Women Artists. She is represented by New Hope Sidetracks Art Gallery, New Hope, PA.
