Solix Inc. Establishes Scholarship at CCM

Parsippany Company Offers Financial Aid to High School Students
Solix Inc., of Parsippany, N.J., a leading provider of program administration, qualification processing and customer-care solutions for government and commercial clients, has established a new scholarship at the County College of Morris. John Parry, chief executive officer of Solix, recently presented a check for $30,000 to CCM President Dr. Edward J. Yaw to initiate the new endowed scholarship, which will provide $1,000 annually to a high school student enrolled at the college. Eligible students must have completed at least one course at CCM with a minimum GPA of 3.0

“We are very grateful to Solix for establishing this new student, specifically aimed at high school students attending CCM,” said Joseph T. Vitale, president of the CCM Foundation. “With the cost of college education increasing dramatically, CCM continues to offer an outstanding education at a price most families can afford. This new scholarship provides additional financial aid that will allow many students in the years ahead to achieve their dream of a college education. We thank Solix for its leadership and commitment to the community.”

“CCM is an excellent institution and we’re pleased to support the college and assist students who are dedicated to their educations,” said Parry. “It is gratifying to encourage and enable young people to pursue their academic goals especially since a high school student applying for this particular scholarship would mostly likely include leadership traits valued by Solix.”
