The Final Mission: A Boy, a Pilot and a World at War Book Signing at CCM

Daughter and Father Share Heroic WWII Exploit
Elizabeth Hoban, R.N., MSN, author and coordinator of Health Services at County College of Morris (CCM), and Lt. Col Henry Supchak, her father and co-author of The Final Mission: A Boy, a Pilot and a World at War, will hold a book signing at the CCM Campus Store on Tuesday, November 6.

The co-authors will hold two book signings. The first takes place from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. and the second from 4 – 5 p.m.

In their book, the authors detail the story of Supchak’s courageous actions as a World War II pilot to save an Austrian village and a shepherd boy’s decades-long search to thank him. Published this year by Westholme Publishing, the book has been described as a “remarkable story of sacrifice, honor and life-long redemption that provides a rare glimpse into the true drama of human experience.”

The event is free and open to the public. The Campus Store is located in the Student Community Center on CCM’s Randolph Campus, 214 Center Grove Road.
